I have only done a small amount of FPGA programming, so my comments may not be that useful. I have only ever used a Xilinx FPGA or CPLD, so seeing how an app would compare on different FPGA's would be interesting, although for the apps that

Some of these aren't even scientific discoveries: - We’ve already changed the climate for the rest of this century - There have been mass extinctions in the past, and we’re probably in one now. Seriously?

I tried to switch to Dvorak. It is great for writing text. The one downside is that I have already trained my fingers to the short cuts and coding with Dvorak may not actually be better because the keys you will be using are not what would

Agreed, the code was a clear example of how to handle signals. I could understand it even though I haven't even dealt with signals before.

Couldn't agree more. Lately I've read through some code in a language that I never used before. But what I have learned from reading the code has had a significant impact on the way in which I write my own code. In my case I was reading som

This is amazing, wish I would have know how to do this before I made my microcomputer board. I ordered mine from 4pcb.com, but making it yourself is pretty sweet. Whenever I do something myself, it adds a lot of extra meaning to what I did.

Bike rides were amazing for me. I decided to bike to and from work (about 10 miles each way). I can't imagine not doing it now, its the best way to start and end my day.

I would like to have a free account, but I don't think that a free account should be given out to students. I understand give private accounts to instructors, however, $7 a month is very little and think that most students could come up wit

I've already run into a problem with this on one of the sites I worked on. Fortunately that date wasn't to important in that case and we settled leaving the date somewhere in 2037 for the time being.
