YC is great and am interested to see how their investment thesis progresses. It is an answer to Harvard/Ivy league criticism that if the teaching methodologies were as good as the institutions claim; scaling them would be a net good. C

Last time this came up there was a rush to criticize the stupidity of running a relay in Russia. Well, we need those relays. We need them distributed. He knew the risks and he did it anyway. I commend his courage. I use tor. I don't ru

I agree with your point but think it furthers the above logic that personality (or editorial motivation) matter quite a bit. Assange and his motivation is important as he has seemingly near total control of WL.

AMZN is one of the most interesting stocks & Companies. Its a new age Warren Buffett-esque value company. He probably doesn't invest in it due to the tech complexity, but it is the type of Company he looks at, just a the 21st cen

There was a pretty bad article about chip making posted a few weeks ago. The one great point it made was that the nm was not comparable across manufacturers. So, I guess my question is how big of a deal is this?

Also, I think it is hard to get product market fit. You pretty much have to release a whole game before you know if it's successful. Unless you are established it is much harder to bootstrap. You can release a level and optimize but ga
