Depends for a DC / Telco your normally feeding 48v DC from the UPS which is normally separate. The lack of fire suppression is also very worrying.

Interesting that he wasn't dialing the 618 short code we had - though Oftel did at some stage ake us stop using that. I actually used to use to dial the x.25 service to login from home using a portable terminal - no screen just paper.

I don't understand all this whining about recipes sites. I have never had a problem with them and I am using an 8 year old creaky laptop. And Nigellas' or the Hairybikers sites are not encumbered with adds.
