I try to work no more than 9 hours per day 5 days per week. I schedule blocks of time on Google calendar and try to be super productive during those blocks and track the results week to week. (Pomodoro technique, phone won't ring bef

You need a shopping cart and a merchant account/gateway. The credit card stuff is relatively easy copy/paste code. Authorize.net and Paypal have historically worked pretty well. Though try to avoid storing or handling credit card

I hope this helps. Eating and working too much can be addictive and I don't think you'll be able to force him to change. Maybe try connecting and maybe learning some of his personal dreams. Real change has to come from him, but

My mirrorless shots tend to nail exposure and composition more often than DSLR. I've been waiting almost 14 years for the compact cameras to finally get comparable sensors and interchangeable lenses.

I recently benchmarked an uncached remote ASP site versus a local Node.js copy that returned identical HTML. Of course, Node was 100x as fast. (1ms vs 200ms) However, in the browser, they felt like the same site. The 199ms head start res

I would recommend against hosting your own email unless you want to learn from the experience. Otherwise, pick a good company and focus on other things. Personally, I would recommend Rackspace; perhaps from a reseller that can sell you a s

I'll have to check the numbers. The 6000W came from the stove's rating tag. It's a small stove that supplements an oil burner to make the living room and kitchen comfortable. The oil burner keeps the whole house warm enoug

The solar heat gain is close to 1kw per square meter. The wood stove that heats half of our house is only 6kw.

Or turning it into chemical bonds like plants do? It reminds me of Buckminster Fuller describing fire as "sunlight unwinding from tree trunks". Or burning oil as unwinding sunlight from lots of prehistoric plants and animals.

I hope this is useful... General - site is overcrowded with too many photos and too much "stuff". Suggestions: 1) Put a large bright "Order Today" button in the top right corner. Everything is secondary to this button.

I've been hoping to some day find a car that is a worthy replacement for my Honda Insight. The Volkswagen seems to be similar in many ways: comparable horsepower, weight, covered rear wheels, etc. I doubt it'll be $22,000 though. A friend
