We've built a prototype that does this: https://cloudsweeper.cs.uic.edu/ . It works for gmail only, doesn't require full account access, and is completely server side. Currently we only search for and redact/encrypt plaintext passwords, bu

Ariya Hidayat & co have put a monumental amount of effort into exposing the inner workings of webkit in phantomjs - I'm not sure I see the necessity for a python rewrite. Taking a quick look at the code, most everything I use phantomjs

This and a few other interesting concerns are up in Delete[1] by Viktor Mayer-Schönberger. This is a very interesting book that explains a lot of historical context for how the digital age differs from what came before. The linked blog post

I think this comment comes the closest to the truth. The author responded to detractors on twitter by posting a link to the C proof-of-concept that he was apparently attempting to translate into javascript: http://pastebin.com/dHgn0fP7 Th

The biggest difference is that we were using the same cards several times, and in this study we only used the cards once each. At this point everything is speculation, so I really can't say anything one way or another as to why this happene

This is correct: mass spec analysis showed that the correct active ingredient was present in roughly the same concentration in the pills we ordered compared to the store-bought brand version of the drug.

We (and also I am pretty sure our lawyer) consider that to be defrauding the spammers, and even though some people might consider that ethical, we don't (also we're pretty sure it's not legal either).
