I'm not pinning anything on anyone. The parent comment claimed that "Russians like strong leaders" is a falsehood yet the history claims otherwise.

Khodorkovsky was at one point the richest oligarch, which is basically one of the pinnacle states of kleptocracy. I think the lecturer understands the system much better than you

Like I mentioned elsewhere, this offensive holds no rational grounds even if you try hard to see it through a Russian lens - this is why they keep inventing new reasons of invasion on the fly (e.g. the biolab stuff, etc.) So still clinging

I would never make the mistake of thinking him stupid, but the power structure underneath him pervades his visibility and makes him do irrational things. Seriously, watch the lecture I linked.

A rational plan would've been to confine the conflict into Donbas & Krim. I would make the argument that barely any sanctions would've been put in place if Russia had occupied the areas it was already fighting in, since the we

Just parroting the word "shower thought" isn't making any effect here. How about presenting an opposite view instead?

Are you then claiming that 70% of Russians are jerks? Because that's the current approval rate of Putin according to the latest post-war poll by Levada. [1] [1] https://www.levada.ru/2022/02/04/odobrenie-

Reality shatters your point really quickly, it's even mentioned in the lecture (suggesting you didn't watch it): Russians have literally had 8 years of democracy in the past 600+ years, otherwise it's always been an autocracy

Suggesting Russians are playing a rational game here? I think the cover has been pulled on the Russian "master strategy".. it's literally a hierarchy of terror and lies, where everyone will do whatever it takes to please the

This lecture is by a former Finnish intelligence colonel. It is in Finnish but has English subs. Try to watch it despite it being in a foreign language. The subtitles give all the necessary information - and I cannot recommend this lecture

And? That is entirely the point. Pharma marketing & government sold this as a preventative cure which of which people with the know were skeptical about from the beginning.

This theory of "pandemic of the unvaccinated" can safely be dumped into the trashcan following that e.g. here in Finland we have a double vaccination rate of over 80% and yet the daily numbers are easily the highest of all time. I

What do I care about the US system as an European? I certainly haven't had a single chance to vote about any issue regarding COVID, these have all been top-down decisions.

This is not an antivaxx problem, this is a government/NGO ineptitude & trustworthiness problem. There's been a million fumbles and lies around the whole pandemic, making the quasistalinist approach to pandemic governance likel

Fine, but now we have two extra phenomena with the COVID vaccine: 1) Discussion about vaccine side effects, efficacy rates, etc. is being actively censored (e.g. Twitter's ridiculous post censorship policy) 2) Governments pushing for a
