They create better drivers. Nvidia dont adhere to specs. Amd does. Developers develop for nvidia. Problems ensue for amd users.

This has more to do with market dominance and standards compliance of nvidia than anything else. Nvidia does its own thing game devs compensate, amd gets a shafted experience and looks like its their fault.

Do you recall which kernel you were using? I was forced to grab a 5700xt because of stock problems but it would have been around the same time. I had one big deal breaker problem but i only had to run a mainline kernel build to tie me over.

And if you take too long to ship you're still a failure. I personally force stakeholders to define sunset dates on the system / code ill be writing. If its sunset date is never, cost of development proportional to roi approaches z

You shouldnt conflate browser defaults with good usability. Sure its generally speaking a good rule of thumb to follow but saying the default is the right thing to do because its a default is a logical fallacy. Its appealing to authority fo

Look up database as a value rich hickey talk on datomic which essentially does this. Bottleknecks writes through an acid layer, makes reads against any single database connection (the value) immutable.
