Where does liability come in once third parties start flooding propaganda/misinformation to the masses? Do you simply allow it to be a convenient platform for a foreign govt to astroturf a local population to affect a local election w

This. These things tend to be incredibly well built. Not indestructible (Unless you get say, a 7D), but people rely on them for their livelihood and they're built as such.

Reading the thread; I have to assume whatever rep was in charge of that twitter account had ~no idea what they were talking about. It's just too oblivious to the base concepts involved.

our (employer administered no less) daycare has ~24mo wait list and a costs ~2400usd/mo per kid . It's legitimately insane; expensive-private-school pricing.

Then what about when Brave hijacked affiliate links en-mass for all users? No 'not required' as it was maliciously done in the background (until they were called out on it at least). Brave is a shady platform at a minimum; and has

This is the best way to think about it imo, there are all kinds. I'm lucky enough to be able to comfortably bike to work. Unsurprisingly; I like to go in a few times a week for a change of scenary (and to still keep a big screen. A n

Is the answer here something like Black Duck to scan local code and compare it upstream for similarities? Normalize it as a precommit hook potentially.

I've never heard of Bolt. Interesting; glad there's competition. They need to enter the US market still though.

Kube has hit enough market/mind saturation that using it for more trivial use case isn't isn't necessarily a horrendous idea anymore. Just having a Kube available I can run a quick kron on is valuable.

I'm all for pushing for more privacy/etc; but is Brave what we want to advocate for as an alternative? They did some pretty heinous link jacking relatively recently. I'm not sure FF/(/chromium) have been caught doi
