"What you did in connection with Silk Road was terribly destructive to our social fabric". That sounds like something from the 19th century.

You mean how the DOM is constructed via JS functions? There's this project to fix it: https://github.com/insin/msx

So, besides the virtual DOM, I feel like it's east to write React-like code in Angular. Just make directives that are real tight, with unidirectional flow of events and get passed only the values they need. Perhaps I'm missing som

I don't know much about go, but taking a quick look at implementations - they seem to be written by a programming novice, and the are quite primitive. Don't mean to be negative, just my opinion.

So how does one learn to draw fractals? Any good resources I should check out?

I dunno... I found actually solving problems in a functional way much harder than the syntax.

Or how do you run your app unless it's a front-end app? Just in isolated virtual environments?

I lost all respect for them when I tried using the trackpad on their newer laptops. After a year of use it still took me multiple attempts to right-click on something. My brother just disabled his and learned to use the nipple. I can't

Dunno about Google, but in the past couple of companies where I worked age was a strong source of bias no doubt.

Well if you read anthropological literature you'll quickly find references to strong positive correlation between social status of women and peacefulness, and the inverse of course.

So in 20+ years of building things you haven't worked with a designer who customized scroll-bars? It as if you haven't worked with a designer at all.

I don't feel it's misleading. If you climbed 60k in N hours, you did it, regardless of whether it was interspersed with descent. At least I don't see a difference.

Sure, I agree. But the impact is much less direct. Most interviews go like this: "Have you worked with Angular?". And you just don't really need to be a very good programmer to have a well-paying job.

It's hard for me to believe that somebody actually likes the no-ports philosophy. In some offices where I worked it seemed like every 10 minutes somebody would run around asking for some dongle for their macbook. And again, not to soun
