It feels like most commenters on this thread have not read past the first page of that list, because the discussion ends at "my hardware works" or "my hardware doesn't work". There's much more on that list and

Driver availability is only a small portion of that list.

Yeah, while being informative the article is not necessarily inspiring. I just gives a rundown of linear algebra without talking about how it relates to the graphics.

"Dreams up" sounds a lot like modern "handcrafted with love" marketing.

The title is a bit misleading. It is deprecated in the context of that project. Meaning they personally won't support it anymore. It's not deprecated in general as a compiler.

I think the biggest problem will be security and if you have "things" on the internet they'll start getting hacked hard.

I wouldn't hold my breath. Django isn't popular enough to create a niche driver. Besides as others point out vanilla Django was designed with SQL in mind.

Well, I assume that it's because myObject.someVariable = myObject.someVariable + 1 is harder to read than myObject.someVariable += 1 Also it's annoying to type and increases the chance of typos.

Almost every C and C++ book I've seen has an, imho, needless chapter on why "y = x++" and "y = ++x" are not the same thing. This does not reduce clutter.

Please don't call things "Uber for X", it's a completely meaningless sentence most of the time. When you say "Uber for banking" to me I have to idea what you mean.

I have not shopped around for mail, so I have nothing to compare it with. But their tiers are $10/$20/$40 for .25/1/15GB per year. To me that's a _tiny_ price. I don't know what you mean by "pricey" t

Nobody in this thread seems to be talking about the strange change of rules by the Democrats. Why did this change in rules come about? As I understand it was a retroactive change? Very odd.

It's difficult to build an extension like that, I think, you'd need a search server. If there was an extension that would offload the heavy lifting, say, to my a local installation of elastic search or something like that I'd

Sure I've heard that definition. Yet it describes a "symptom", and not a process which it is a manifestation of. I just feel like the discussion about "introvert" is extremely shallow: here is a child, she's an
