I used to use https://spamgourmet.com and was quite happy. You can create email addresses on the fly without doing anything in their UI: alias.number.account@spam gourmet.com. Alias is the per-site value, number is the count of

I'm a PM on VSTS. If you're willing to share what we're missing and what's bloated, I'd love to hear it. mattc@xbox.com or a reply here would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Absolutely +1 to this. My dad also died extremely unexpectedly, and while nothing about the process was easy, having his last wishes known to us was a relief. He and my mom had each prepared a "farewell letter" to the family. My d

Do you have any friends with kids of their own? We found in our planning that the people who had kids of similar age to ours were the best choice. They're already dealing with "kid stuff" and, other than finances, adding more

Reddit's API is pretty easy to get started with. Find a page within Reddit that contains the data you want, add ".json" to the URL, and chances are very good that you'll get exactly what you need.

Is there a thorough getting started guide for asyncio floating someplace on the web? I tried to pick up asyncio a few weeks ago. The official documentation assumes a lot of background that I don't possess, despite being a long-time Pyt

Microsoft has a program for for employees as well as family members. It has a hotline (crisis or non-crisis) entry-point and can also plug into your standard health insurance for on-going issues. Can't remember the name, maybe somethin

The Xbox consoles, at least, don't allow self-modifying code, so that particular issue wouldn't exist. I assume PlayStation is the same.

This isn't correct for product development groups; things may be different in IT and MCS. In product groups, PM always means program manager and the role really isn't much about project management. PMs at Microsoft are engineers a

Your analogy to IE and Netscape Navigator confuses me. Navigator cost money and was the dominant browser; IE came along later, was free, and became dominant. Eventually Netscape lowered the price to zero but by then was effectively out of b

You're right, the Play results are mostly of the form "Facebook $FOO" or "$FOO for Facebook" and many have goofy icons. Apple seems to have done a good job hiding the cruft, at least for "top-100" searches
