The higher up the org chat you report to is, the safer your position becomes. At one job, I reported directly to the still-reigning cofounder of a long lived company. Never have I felt a stronger sense of job security than that.

Echo Nest was one hell of an analysis company. We lost some amazing work when Spotify purchased it. The silverlining is that their Audio Analysis API endpoint is basically Echo Nest's work made wholesale available for each song they ha

Those end of year recaps are a highlight for me. I really look forward to it every year, along with comparing against my friends. They also have a really nice API, which has admittedly been getting more and more locked down, but to claim it

Nothing will ever beat the experience of my old IBM T43. The keyboard, the hardware kill switches for various things, the ports, the removal battery. Most of all I miss the keyboard, I miss it every day.

Just for fun, I downloaded the wbep in the article to my desktop to check non-web comparability and found something strange. For usability reasons, I still use Windows Photo View from the XP days on my modern Windows 11 computer. After load

I'm looking forward to this, the original was excellent. Made very much in the spirit of Newground's flash games. Replaying it on iOS kind of sucked though. Touch, with fingers obscuring the precise location of each gooball is an

How are you guys even making burner facebook accounts? Every time I try (though granted, I haven't tried since 2016), I get stymied by a hard phone number requirement.

When put this way, it reminds me how Apple generally chooses to add features to the iPhone. They wait for use cases to be proven, usually by Samsung, and then add a very polished version to the phone.

You didn't mean it this way, but your post reads like comedy. The juxtaposition of "very easy" with everything else you wrote is a striking image.
