Interesting. I set up a bunch of slack webhooks for server events that's been working decently well but maybe I'll look at telegram.

I also get the impression this is way more complicated than it needs to be. Or maybe it's simple and they keep inventing new terminology for stuff that basically already exists. The crypto bros did the same shit. Like, bidirectional co

I've struggled to understand how Loop earplugs cost $25+ when you can get actual music-playing earphones for less than $10.

Almost no one actually knows how to set up their monitoring. Like, they know the words but not the full picture or how the pieces should actually fit together. Then they do shit like this to try and make up for that fact.

I agree with you that Afghanistan is a much different country. My fear is that once the entire centralized theocracy is bombed out of existence it will open the door for localize warlords to begin carving up territory. The alternative is a

Iran is on “death ground” as Sarah Paine would say. It’s a TERRIBLE idea to put your enemy on death ground because all they can do is fight now. We’re going to keep bombing them until there’s nothing left. Iran is going to end up looking li

Google is doing a much better job integrating AI into existing products. Gemini CLI and such seem just like a way to keep the leading competitors humble (a la iOS vs android). They're also building AI tooling tailored to specific compa

That’s not how quotas work in GCP. Google sets quotas for certain APIs for interacting with GCP itself, like how many VMs you can create per second. They’re not billable. Sometimes these quotas can be be increased if you need them to be.

Sure, but the comment is so vague I’m skeptical the OP knew what they were doing in the first place, or it happened exactly as they wrote. Maybe a service quota was reset to the default? But just set to zero? Doesn’t pass the sniff test.
