Bitdefender sees this site as dangerous? Admittedly it is quite overzealous but something you should look into!

Check out Presto, it is a Facebook open source product and designed exactly for your use case, it doesn't use map-reduce but can read Hive catalogs directly and it is super fast. We use ORC as our file format but Parquet would work as

Have given most things in the Beta Group, First off I love the format conversion capabilities, just missing a few things like Clustering Algorithms. If parity can be achieved with the PostGIS ST functions then it will be fantastic!

I've been in the private beta for a while now, using it for ad-hoc queries, still missing a few things I require but I think it will be better down the line!

A toxic employee occasionally says no and explains why they won't. Can't work out if sarcasm or not but I have no problem being told no by my employees IF they explain why not?

I use mine sometimes up to 10 times a day for various chats and screenshares with colleagues (distributed team) - It would be a massive pain in the ass to do this. If someone wants to watch me frown repeatedly then they are welcome to it!

Working with my team is important but I need at least one day a week working from home in my bath robe, not only for my own sanity but also to actually get things done. I don't begrudge anyone else that! Not everyone is an outgoing ext

Question - are the non-technical employees requesting work done by the senior developer directly to him? Some developers are often just that - hard headed coders, if they haven't come from a role or a background that has required them

I use Android Pay currently for everything here in Australia, it is just seamless! We have a fairly large uptake of contactless here by merchants so it is a good fit! The only thing they need to work out now is contactless ATMs working wit

Decentralising the Internet is the only way we are going to be able to stop corporations from lobbying (aka bribing) the government to make decisions in their favour. Check out https://substratum.net/ - they have an idea to

Terrible support, if you cant even get answers to basic questions then why would you want to potentially invest through their platform? I immediately sacked them off after not even being able to get a satisfactory response to ID checks

Interesting to see real world figures for bcrypt, also interesting that 7Zip's hashing algorithm seems extremely resilient (I assume it works on the same kind of difficulty / work factor that bcrypt uses but with a higher factor)
