Noting that the researchers use terms as 'responds to vibroacoustic signals' rather than the term 'hear' used in the article of the post. Hearing to me implies some kind of auditory processing, this seems to be a more pa

Mind expanding what sucks about it? It's been a number of years since I did any serious OGL work, but at the time Vulkan looked like it was going to be a major step in the right direction. Perhaps that is the problem, for any new gener

Yes absolutely. But my comment was just to confirm what you were saying about 25^7 (with one control digit) i.e. 25^6 would be enough to cover everything that is addressable in the system today. If we increase that to alphabet+ numbers 35^

The African elephant has about 3 times (2.57×10^11) as many neurons than the average human (8.6×10^10). The pilot whale (1.28×10^11). Perhaps they see the bigger picture, and realize that everything humans are doing is pretty meaningless.

25^6=244,140,625 - I think I have seen estimates of 100,000,000 addressable entities in the Japan postal address system (a bit half of them being households, the rest companies, public buildings, various organizations and so on )

So will he if you give him your ordinary address? It's good to be careful of these things, but I think you are being a little bit paranoid.

arrange all people in a graph with distance of how well they 'know' each other. Then divide the graph into subnets, and implement an addressing scheme akin to IP v4. Now we can have masked access-list, and block lists.

Perhaps worth pointing out, that GotF was written and directed by Isao Takahata without involvement (afaik) of Miazaki who has written and/or directed most of the stories with more of a well-known 'Ghibli' feel to them.

I don't know why, but I imagine a situation where all communication has broken down, and the only working sensor is the one in the piss-tank, and the astronauts have to communicate in morse by modulating the delta in the tank. And some

'permission' might be ok, but 'login' is very imprecise and much more ill defined than authenticate.

No, even if you emit less, you are still 'accumulating', but at a slower rate. And previously released methane is still converting to co2 in the atmosphere, for decades to come.

While we are at it, it would probably also be nice to (optionally) color the background of the explored row(or token) and color the title bar of the result correspondingly (I am thinking similar to Godbolt color coding for matching C->A
