Upvote for you. I have a Dual Core one with an AMD Neo. It works pretty well for a small machine. Probably going to install a smallish SSD in it soon. It also runs Ubuntu quite well.

I am hoping the HTML 5 will do away with much of the need for using flash. Whether they use the VP8 or the MPEG codec, I don't care. They both seem to be up to the task.

We also have the problems with having a huge illegal immigrant population and the associated costs with it. (education, health care, public assistance) When you add it all up, California is in pretty bad shape.

The old models were horrible. No optical drive on a 15" laptop and the software used for the trackpad was horrible. It looks like they remedied the optical drive issue, I'd have to see if the trackpads work better now.

Potassium Dichromate is a fairly nasty chemical due to the face is has Chromium in a high oxidation state. They have pretty much written it out of Chemistry experiments in undergraduate chem courses.
