This to me feels a lot like GWT: making it easier for Java developers to write client side code. It was marketed as faster, however in reality it's slower on everything except a special build of Chrome. It supposed to make us more prod

If you are building a commercial product and 590$ is too expensive, I feel sorry for you. In western countries you could get at most 2-3 man days for that money, I highly doubt that even the best coder could implement Highcharts in 3 days a

Wordpress is a pain to develop for and plugins are a minefield, it's content delivering method doesn't scale. The only reason a lot of people are using it is because it is easy and cheap to get it up and running.

You can come up with similar "reasons"(read: bullshit) for any distro(or Operating System). In terms of cloud, Ubuntu is popular, if I look at the desktop I get the same result. So apparently they are doing something right. If we

In languages like JavaScript, where you don't have the private keyword, prefixing with _ is the only good way to show the user of your class that you don't want that variable to be modified outside your class.

Looks more like the past to me, if you want to program synchronously, then why don't you just use Python? If you properly decouple data flow and IO from your logic, you will not end up with callback hell. If you shoehorn synchronous id

For the average user, git and mercurial have similar commands, a lot of the time you could just replace `git` with `hg` and it works. I also don't believe that mercurial has a 'cleaner UI', especially when it comes to merge.
