Just for what it's worth, as I know it isn't the same as working for someone - I interviewed for a position working directly for Jason and he was all class. I'm a designer and part of the interview process, as is often the ca

Your sentiments about Flagstaff are so funny to me because my wife and I thought the exact same thing as we passed through from TX on the way to Las Vegas. My whole life (originally from New England) I thought Arizona was all desert, so whe

The skinning and boiling of live dogs is nothing secret. In Yulin, crispy dog skin is a specialty. Boiling is how they prepare it. Even beyond that, the person you were replying to has a point: dogs being raised as livestock is one thing, b

I don't disagree with your general premise, but was a LMDDGTFY link (much less a LMGTFY link) necessary there to make the point?

Yes. I often wonder what they could have done better with the UI to speed up the process for seniors or people who just don't have the patience or interest in all the options they have.

The due diligence comes after filming. The deals you see on TV are a handshake deal and in my estimation only about 30-40% of them actually end up going through because a lot of founders lie about things like being litigated against, having

Incorrect, at least with Shark Tank. Can't speak to Dragon's Den. I worked for one of the Sharks on their ST accounts. Nothing is staged, it's all regular people who submit their ideas and are selected based on who the networ

I personally miss some human interaction after long periods of time at home, but not office interaction. It works for me to break up my schedule to socialize with my wife, friends and family to properly quell those feelings.

You answered your own question. An introvert would not want that. You can force your standards of what makes someone a "happy and skilled professional" on them if you like, but that's not always a case grounded in reality.

I just replied with basically the same answer. I am from MA but have spent time in ETX. It was nice to go into Brookshire's in Quitman and be approached by people who knew I wasn't from town, and be welcomed into their homes or ju

The countryside is a big part of it. Like a lot of Texas, large plots of land can be had for cheap. I had a friend I would spend time with who had 20 acres with farm animals and pets, and we'd ride around his property on ATVs traversin

Yes it is basically a demo. Specimen and Specimen Sheet are common terms in typography. The author is trying to display how type looks in a grid on this page, though I agree the horizontal grid looks messy.

I read that Dorsey basically divides his day into Twitter in the morning and Square in the evening, or something to that effect. I believe he lives walking distance to both offices in the Mission.

Yup, agreed on the Bridge Nine comment. Makes sense too when you think that Wes Eisold was one of the guys mentioned in the article - there's even a picture on the bridge near fenway with him in it.

Jaywalking is enforced with an iron fist in Las Vegas. Yes, I agree it's dumb most of the time, but it's part of the culture here. You'll be cited by police in the hospital if you're hit by a vehicle while jaywalking. Si
