The sudden disappearance is not only annoying to the victim. The last time I saw an account disappear in front of me, I thought that person might be a joker.

This is useful for some free web hosting sites with some limits (if file creation is not forbidden ;), also useful for simple personal blog system (composer is unnecessary). Well, not great, but usable. The write method is not reliable for

By mentioning sed and line-oriented, I means you don't have to read all content of stdin (i.e. full buffering) before matching.

Obviously it is not line-oriented. So the selling points are? 1. custom delimiters 2. special syntax for fallback values 3. extended regular expression with Unicode support More?

Scheme could be a good language (for fans?) if it is not used interactively.

Oh yes, thank you. I always relate free software to patent trolls, because software patents have huge impact on software development. When I relate GPL to Creative Commons, I mean they are good role models for defending legal rights and int

> The point is that you can't make changes to the free software and then take away your users freedom. Still, you cannot exactly explain what the freedom is. Proprietary softwares can copy the ideas without contributing back. I know

Even if the source is guarded by GPL, the idea behind the source can be copied and represented in another form. Then the freedom defined by GPL is obscure to me. MIT licenses saves me from time-consuming copycat situations. Yeah, I am lazy,

Your example does not solve this problem: You may rely on some excellent GPLed softwares, but you want to distribute it with some close-source softwares. Then you might become the lazy programmers. I can see how GPL fans hate close-source s

Proprietary software companies trap you, so you utilize GPL to trap more lazy programmers? Selfish people are always selfish, lazy ones are still lazy. I don't like this model.

Well, I think a voting pool is more practical than manually counting upvote/downvote of every comment. I don't know how often the maintainers will come back and see how an issue is going and see which comments are popular. Also, s

So a semicolon plays three roles in the code (arg; statement; block;;), and it seems that ;; has higher precedence when ;;; is seen.

The designer has a stange aesthetics for those {} (function body) and ;; (block terminator), is there a FAQ? Update: This may be the best answer... http://eigenstate.org/myrddin/lang-checklist

+1 Nim is too messy for me. And the codegen bugs are very annoying, just like black magic. Also I don't like the Python-style with no end-marker. I'll be glad if Araq does plan to provide another syntax for Nim. But I fear the sty

You are right in the simple use cases. And I can see that it makes the dependency declarations more concentrated for large projects. Every DI libraries are magical and need us to learn their terminologies. Just see whether they are efficien

It is simple (for developers?), but not easily extendable. Simplicity is not an excuse for no plugin support nor not writing good documentations. And more powerful tools need better documentations. If you think other SSGs are not well docum
