As a European I can't help but think that this is an immediate demonstration of how the leader of the United States can have actual impact on my life. I was being mocked today by my (also European) peers when I expressed my disappointm

I'm wondering if the data are outdated. Running through some ES2015 features like classes or arrow functions I noticed Safari was still "in development" while Safari 10 has shipped for over a month now with almost full ES2015

This has changed a lot with React. Honestly I jump with joy every time I start a new react project.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this post does nothing to explain why the license of Wix's library is MIT while based on prior art which was GPL, thus infringing on the GPL license, which is the whole point Matt is discussing about in

Nit: not sure why you mention const. It does not provide any kind of immutability assurance.

There was a time (up until yesterday that is) where the Pro series was targeted to said HN demographic. I think the amount of criticism is perfectly reasonable.

If you have a method called getUser and it throws an error when it can’t get a user, It’s much easier on the consumer to spell this out explicitly with a name like getUserOrThrowError I think this is bad advice honestly. Who does this any

Really it doesn't matter if it's for display purposes or not. It all boils down to implementation. I can make a view library riddled with XSS vulns in very little time.

I would 100% back you up in my mind had it not been for the "Why Quicksort is the best sorting method?" question. I hope you'll agree that there is no way a correct answer would ever validate this question.

You're being unfair. You're obviously using npm 2.x, we've since moved to 3 for a very long time now where the dependency tree is flattened and this issue is avoided.
