Call me a skeptic, but this project ditches Erlang's awesome VM and takes only the clunky language syntax and puts it on the JVM. I wonder how things like process isolation will work out.

In Scala's type system that can be expresses as well - it's called type variance. I believe C#4.0 might be getting this.

I agree, the example with the tld part wasn't the best - maybe an url schema (http part) would have been much better. "So the proposed solution with the Option<> generic type really is just a reminder to the programmer." - exactly.

Maybe leveraging pattern matching could improve. Actually - we can be able to implement our own methods get(), post(), etc. via pattern matching... So inspiring - on my way to fork it. ;)
