The headline is a sad mark on our schools... Especially as they talk about young children, any faults lie with their parents--the same generations who think they were tougher when they were kids, are creating problems by never saying no to

I am reading this on my iPhone. I scrolled through 10 "pages" and didn't see any tips. All I learned was that google must hate apple.

Congrats! What's ironic is that I was lucky to record a video of Drew coding an early version of Dropbox last March, but as I didn't have a painless solution for backing up, I don't have a copy of it anymore. :)

I don't know why, but I've seen many good comments on YCombinator this weekend. Yours is one of them. Someone is labeled arrogant when they're successful enough that others have to pay attention to them, yet those same people are jealous i

I disagree. Every startup, except a few, can only hope to target maybe 5% of anyone who ever stumbles on the site. So, the only opinions that matter are those of the 5% who sign up and use the service. Everybody else is just thinking up

I think this is a bug: different users can keep voting down the author of a deleted post by visiting this URL for that post, where "username" is your name, even though the post no longer appears. http://news.ycombinator.com/vote?by=usernam
