The accordion example isn't really what I think of as an accordion because it doesn't auto-close other elements. For that behavior, you can make some minor tweaks swapping out the checkbox elements for radio buttons.

I really liked the visual representation of the "8" bitmap! It's kind of neat how `0` has a fairly pixel density compared to `255`, so even as numbers the `8` is still recognizable.

The nice thing is that you get quite a bit of middle ground to play with performance. Examples: * Refresh TTLs that allow for some caching before hitting a DB (revoking). * Using a Bloom filter to revoke to limit the number of affected user

I've lived on the US East Coast my whole life. I like to camp, so I thought I had seen the Milky Way before. Then, I took a canoeing trip in northern Minnesota and camped a night on an island in the middle of a lake. It was a crystal c

I am about the age and had a very similar experience, but it went beyond LAN parties. In retrospect, I went to a very quirky school. It was public, but you need to apply to go there--it was no one's default school. Despite that, we had

While I might not agree with the GP that this should be an automatic failure, I do think it is very important to emphasize to students that when the code is working, they are not done. They still need to go back, re-format, clean things

I've had a very different experience with designers. I would say that ~95% of them something is a couple pixels off, a slightly different font size, or a shade off in color, it was a mistake. Usually a quick follow-up question will rev

My guess would be in data found on unencrypted drives that reference files on the encrypted drive. For example, you might have filenames that hint at child pornography in metadata (itunes, WMP, etc.) or CLI history. Sure, the file might be

It depends on the engine, but most, when parsing, will look-ahead and see that `.` in `.filter(func2)` is an invalid start to an expression and assume it is part of the previous line.

I am well aware that we are in the minority when it comes to preferring tabs over spaces in JS, but, as useless as this decision is, I will fight over it the street. It's misplaced passion and I don't care.

There are many reasons, but I think the simplest is that using a language in house has a very real and non-trivial cost. Expertise, coding standards, library vetting, etc. By using Node.js in a Web shop, you can eliminate one language. Othe
