The author seems to be building a false dichotomy. Math is the combination of two. To continue the use of the music analogy, if you can sing and write songs but do not know any theory and cannot express your ideas to anyone but yourself, is

PromisifyAll is awesome... until you realize some code you are using is doing some seriously crazy stuff. For example, Mongoose takes all of methods on the prototype during object creation and replaces them with ones that run middleware. Th

"Do unto others as they would like done unto them." Is a pretty common restatement of the Golden Rule. While I agree with your premise, there's no reason to rename it.

Yep, the whole point is that it's different for different people. I've also worked for big and small companies. Personally, I'm happier at bigger companies--and not because of money. Small companies have few people and theref

Have all of my up votes. This. A thousand times this. The short answer is, "no, do not cash out your 401k." The long is answer, is that there is probably another way. Make it a goal and put savings away for specifically that purpo

I'm also part of that sub-group. I absolutely despise going to the theater. In fact, I've toyed with the idea of of opening a theater with enforced etiquette, but ultimately determined that there was not sufficient demand. Since I

There's a bug in the removeClass() function. If you use a class with a reserved regex character it will fail. I'd rather see this done with a small sets library anyway. removeClass = function (el, cl) { el.className = _.without(el
