Congress could impeach him until 2022 - and didn't. From 2016 to 2022, Brazil was governed by right-wing governments. Oh, who nominated this Justice, was a right-wing president as well.

Don't you think they will put ads on ChatGPT? There are several ways to monetize a product (they already make some use of it).

Yes, but still a free product. Unless you say that in the future the product won't have a free offering anymore, it's a free product.

I'm not arguing about that (I don't buy that either). I'm saying that there was no change in laws or even in Supreme Court ruling since the block. Elon Musk though it was unfair the decisions to block the accounts, and now he

Hm. Super true, but at the same time, it would annoy a lot of people, and there would be a social pressure to unlock WhatsApp. That's not the case with X. Isn't like X (or previously Twitter) ever had the amount of users that What

They are not blocking Cloudflare or Fastly. They are blocking X IPs being used on Cloudflare and Fastly. These CDNs agreed with Anatel, to reserve IPs exclusively to X, so IPs can block X without collateral damage, that's all. That sai

I know that for Instagram/Threads, IP is very key to their moderation. Once they ban a user with that IP, any other account from that IP will also be banned (or something like it), it's fundamental to avoid ban evasion. For Mastod

No. X/Starlink didn't pay any fine, either. The accounts were locked by Justice order, and now transferred to the Federal Government. They are just unfreezing because they already got the fines.

Well... the estimation for 2024 [1] is 212 million... So it seems very likely that the 2022 census was also wrong (there was budget cuts on the institute who do the census, and it had several problems on doing it). This was a big discussion

In this case, X closed the office to not pay the fines. Usually these decision comes when a company closes to not pay the workers all their benefits left, and the judge then goes back to all the other companies that the shareholder is on, a

It's the Justice who interprets the law. 800 million people are in prison right now in Brazil. They can say all their arrest are illegal. That doesn't mean anything.

I was thinking exactly at this. I think a block of ads would hurt even more X than a total-block of X. If you block X, you block obviously ads, but you also block local traffic to the website. If you just block ads, and the traffic continue

About the Fedora Gnome vs EndeuvourOS KDE... the issue here isn't Gnome. It's actually Fedora. In my testing on a similar hardware (also Core M3 and 4gb RAM), Arch-based distros was the best with low RAM. And I tried like, probabl
