The structure of the modern education system is what Brittain designed to run an effective empire before any communication system existed. Every student made to operate independently as an arm of the British empire with standardized knowled

I believe they are referring to memory leaks. Not really a "safety concern" as it will simply cause the application to crash (eventually).

Couldn't the dev lean in and claim it's a parody? Instead of making it LESS like Ikea, use Ikea brands directly. I'm pretty sure parody law permits this. Disclaimer: I am not, nor will ever be, a lawyer

Some more coherent theories of ownership (geo libertarian) do not consider resources like land, ore or water to be individually owned - but rather owned "in common." Under such a theory this issue actually is regarding individual

Considering wars have been fought and blood spilled over it I'd say the answer is yes, but it's a price many would prefer not paying.

I've not done an in-depth analysis but I don't think longjmp is as performant as pushing (and updating) the return stack. Maybe you could do it with assign to our variable + jmp.

Of course, it's still manual memory and pointer management after all. You could manually assign a pointer to 0xDEADBEEF if you want, or you could tell the arena to pop data that you are still using. The point is not perfection, it is s

There is a separate solution for files: defer. Defer can be implemented trivially in assembly by putting the deferred block on the return stack (then the defer block simply returns). This glosses over handling the local stack, but it's

You make good points, but I didn't see such value judgements from the author. Instead, I interpreted the horror imagery as very much to your point: the way things are and will always be, the endless cycle of life and death which so man
