You can’t have a free market without censorship. It’s one or the other.

You can just use Bootstrap then, there's no need for the extra abstraction of Tailwind and DaisyUI.

Just with two extra abstractions on top of it to get the same result.

Most people who develop software expect other people to pay for it. That's why devs make six figures. Yet devs want everything for free to create the software they charge money for? That's a bit hypocritical.

It’s always telling when people don’t show their work. I’m not saying LLMs can’t do a good job but if you’re not even explaining the steps you used or showing the code that was generated or fixed then I have to assume what was really produc

Devs are the factory workers of today. You’re going to be sorry in 10 years when AI is fully mature and all the cheap talent overseas takes every US dev job just like it did to factory workers in the 90s and there’s no unions to even attemp

From talking to many parents they want to give them activities so their kids aren’t bored or sitting inside on their phones all day. Sports is one of those things and lets them also be with other kids. The problem is kids being bored can be

Or have the same work week and employee size and get twice the amount of work done for the same cost. It's never going to benefit the workers in any case.

Various unions of factory workers said the same thing in the 90's, and they had unions. If anything this is not going to change, only accelerate. History is repeating itself but tech workers are just the new factory workers.

This. Tech workers are the modern day factory workers and tech cities will become like the rust belt once all the jobs get shipped overseas and AI takes over. No it won't happen overnight, but neither did factory jobs leaving. I susp

This is the future for all tech companies. Tech workers in the US are the modern day factory workers. Offshore skill set rise plus AI means the end of US tech jobs in the next decade just like it meant the end of US factory work in the 90

Not well. But at least I had windows at work to counteract it and I could turn the lights off. I also was a contractor for 15 years which meant working from my home mostly. Strangely tho there is something about PWM flicker, especially the

In my testing no, the MacBooks are fine. It’s the phones that are a problem. Easiest way to tell is get a camera app you can set the shutter speed to 10,000 fps and point it at a screen. If there are black lines across the screen there is a

It’s difficult to do the hard work of you haven’t done the easy work 10,000 times. And we tend to get paid for the hard work. LLMs remove the easy work from the junior devs task pile. That will make it a lot more difficult for them to do th
