I thought you want to prune the destination on push. Pruning local may work for some. It would be extremely annoying for me, because I'm way more likely to dig in old commits than to push. And I really don't want the existing bl

There's a link on one side and a meta tag on the other. It's as simple as you can make the validation between two sites. It's not even fediverse-specific really - there were other services doing something similar before.

Nobody claimed it validates the identity in any way. It validates that the person at the other website confirms it's their social account and the social account matches the other direction. The real identity is not involved here in any

Why would that be disregarding safety? There's no extra text you can put on the website that would prove anything else (apart from messages signed by a known key, but honestly nobody would check those). Certificates don't provide

It's really not clear which behaviour you want though. For example when you do lots of bisects you probably want to keep everything downloaded locally. If you're just working on new things, you may want to prune the old blobs. Thi

The check has to apply to people and bot visitors the same. If you're expecting a blockchain registered spend before the content is visible, basically nobody will visit your website.

When 2 threads are allocating sockets sequentially, they fight for the locks. If you preallocate a bigger table by creating fd 666 first, the lock contention goes away.

Pilot licences and any mental health issues seem to be a massive pain in general. Lots of people will avoid treatment/diagnosis to not get affected. Xyla has a video on it https://youtu.be/aj0H8oVS7qg + the Pilot Menta

You don't NEED anything really. But it's helpful to have a computer algorithm for this. Processing that yourself is meta effort not everyone has the extra time for or will be diligent enough about.
