MCP is tool calling with continued context/rich context, tool calling alone will PROBABLY die after single call whereas MCP keeps continuity by design (You can use MCP for tool calling but not vice versa). Hope this help you understand

Replicating MacOS is more than just a nice UI, there’s a lot of sw/hw engineering under the hood. Hopefully these guys get closer to that over time.

Partially agree on this, std lib/crates and ease of use do make a difference (this is not even the main reason to use Rust), though Rust certainly has its own headaches. (Imagine searching for someone's implementation of HashedMap
