I don't think autonomous driving will kill recreational driving. Enthusiasts will still buy motorcycles and drive the open road. I'm not a rider, but have many friends who do and I understand the appeal. Those types are not going

I couldn't get it to work in any of my browsers. There simply is no changing the view. I tried the latest Chrome and Firefox. The view is always static.

Same. My job is fairly low-intensity and does not require a full work day. Honestly I could do my full days work in about 4-5 hours each day, but I have to spread it out over 8 hours. In an office I spent a lot of time looking busy. We cert

Personally I agree with you. Yet I know many people who dislike anything that looks like pixel art. I'm not one of them and try to judge games on their individual merits. I believe Zynga knows that they could attract more casuals with

Agreed. I've lost three friends over the years to schizophrenia. I knew them all well before, during and after. Their minds are simply broken, their reality is not the same as ours. One believed he was a ninja protecting the world, ano

After reading Leonard Shlain's Art & Physics, I agree with you. In the past it was the artists, poets and popular writers who helped the general public consume often difficult to grasp ideas. We do seem to be in a lull where the cr

Thanks. That's nice to hear. I really loved the work environment, management aside, I am a little sad to have seen it fall so quickly in my lifetime.

Most developers already knew about this I suppose. We just partnered with them about 4 months ago and have been working closely with them in preparing our platform for this coming change. It's not news to us.

I worked for RadioShack in the early 90's. It feels like that was the beginning of the end. Like you I had grown up a tinkerer and would visit their stores at least twice a month. This had continued throughout my teen years in the 80s.

This is the point not made in the article. We did not historically have so many obese people until very recently in history. Looking at the 'fat' brothers in an old Guinness Book I noticed how much they resembled an average '

It made me uncomfortable as well. I actually knew a girl who willfully ingested a troublesome amount of mercury in high school. Her children have visible birth defects now.

I envision a future where a significant share of the advertising market is comprised of automated ad-bots pitching services and wares to automated web-crawlers. There's something obtusely philosophical about that and what it says about
