Thanks for asking! As for network connections, we have two providers of internet connections always available for such cases. One goes down, the other one takes over. We take redundancy very seriously. 100% SLA means that we guarantee that

Thanks for the comment! As a small company, we can't give out machines/resources indefinitely so we need to have a cap on this. However, I do believe 100 euros towards a free server is a significant giveaway on our part and due to the natur

I can only comment on our offering, but naturally DigitalOcean is putting up great competition in terms of pricing. A few things to consider when hosting with us: 1) We only use enterprise grade hardware currently from Dell and all network

Will try to answer all questions here. Also keeping an eye on our systems due to the expected heavy load. Thinking of writing up a blog post on this to our company blog as the dust settles, how a campaign like this works.

And to add the fine print:1) We give 100 euro of credit that enables you to run it for more than 70 days.2) No commitments, credit cards needed. 3) Non-transferrable, non-refundable, one per account - 1000 servers given out in total. We're

Hey, thanks for the questions! 1) Many different providers have different pricing for their different availability zones. On our part this is partly due, because we want to offer competitive pricing out of London (but also because there are

We're prepared for a ton of interest in our service and thus we need to limit the free trial somewhat (but we still want to give everyone a go at it). However, for 10 euros we are removing all limitations and also giving you 100 euro worth

Even though our management services, billing, API and high availability automation, among others, are homegrown - on the hypervisor side there is no added value in building your own, and we are using the open source KVM virtualisation. Than

Good story, however I'd like to ask if Vesterbacka made any clearer statements on what "managing revenue" means. Their 2011 filing for the Finnish officials state they made about 75 million euros in revenue (far from the $500 million cited

Thank you, very much appreciated! And as said - we're looking for ways to continue it as a community driven thing, so I'm sure it's going to be around in some form. Lots of people reaching out to us currently.
