When your vision is: >> While Apple is a closed, proprietary company, they are not a spyware company like Google. >> Together, we can build a future where we have independent alternatives to the spyware of companies like Google

The problem is you don't even try to make hangouts work for you. You complain that you can't even choose between SMS and instant chat, yet hangouts offers that effortlessly. And you ca see someone online/offline, you can even

"no carrier subsidies in Europe" What?! Lies! I always got my phone on contract, there's tons of choices! I agree about "Look at me, I'm rich!" part though.

This is highly suspicious IMO. You almost died in a car crash with your family, yet two days later you wrote how glad you were that you can see a graph of your heart rate? Come on... On the other hand, I could be wrong though, it's jus

You are spot on when it comes to the difference in cultures. But Europe has little bearing to the argument as the question was more about US welfare. And don't pretend you don't know why entrepreneurs come to the US... we all know

This is ridiculous. "Survival of the fittest" is not about who is physically stronger but who is fitter for their environment. And since most human's environment is a human city, monetary wealth is basically higher fitness. I
