What kind of version is v0.1.0.0? First major version? First minor version? Something in between? It would be so much easier to reason about version numbers if everyone would stick to Semantic Versioning[0]. [0]: http://semver.org/

What is the point of "social media" icon sets like Simple Icons ( http://simpleicons.org/ ), when in real life these companies have very strict brand guidelines you must follow, if you use their brand in your product? For example, if you're

It's a good idea to use example.com domain in example URLs instead of mysite.com or other "real" domains. EDIT: Other tip for the readme: change the name to README.md and Github will render your Markdown formatted readme properly.

I also bricked my Linksys by opening /upgrade.cgi (mentioned in the article) on a browser. I was able to finally fix it by downloading a firmware from Linksys, doing a 30/30/30 reset (push reset button for 30 s, turn power off for 30 s and

Fortunately HTML5 defined a standard way to parse even broken HTML and that parser is implemented in html5lib package. You can use it also with lxml and even use "jQuery like" selectors with lxml.cssselect ( http://lxml.de/cssselect.html )

Your dream about opening apps with URL is already true for many apps. E.g. the URL yelp:///search?terms=karaoke will open the page you used as an example in the native Yelp app on iOS. See http://handleopenurl.com/ for more examples.
