Are there better alternatives to TC - without drama, fluff etc? Mashable is not good, RWW is just okay.

If someone has the money, he/she can buy a few properties for cheap and rent them out (probably make more in rent than the mortgage, if they take out a loan), no?

First, it is not easy (if not impossible), for most people to just move. Let's say some people did move to some other country (X). What is the guarantee that X will not through the same route? What do we do in that case?

Aren't you assuming that investors and VCs are interested in ethics and morality? May be some are, but I'd guess many are more interested in ROI. Whoever gives them the max return gets their money, no?

I'd like to add "photo" pollution also to this. It is near impossible to go to a party, or a tourist spot and actually enjoy the place/occasion. Photos/flashes everywhere, all the time - even the most useless/mundane things being photogr

Well, it is actually almost 2013 :P On a serious note, I think this is more of a marketing gimmick than a tech issue. Also like having very limited quantities and proclaiming "we're sold out". Not saying that is the case here though.

I don't understand this logic :( These workers have no other way to earn money. I am not saying Foxconn is an angel, but it is the only option these workers have. The other options are to work in agriculture, or educate/train themselves i

This is super annoying. Why didn't one of the people recorded pull out their cell phone and record this guy recording others, just to annoy him? And make a "point" if that is what he is trying to do? (May be somebody did, I didn't watch al

That TV show demand doesn't make sense (what if you want to watch a game?) Also, would it have made to betabeat if it was posted by a guy, instead of a girl?

The problem is that Kindle users probably did give explicit permission (for some definition of explicit permission). This is probably the case. Amazon would've covered their bases strongly. What is super annoying is this - there are many
