Thanks for pointing out the right term. However, the site does not use HTML5 placeholder and instead rely on plain JS to do the trick. What I wished for was a behavior like in the demo here: http://diveintohtml5.org/examples/input-placehol

I disagree. Majority of us who use a version control do not need to know the internals. I can be a proficient git user without even knowing what a DAG is and that's the beauty of it. The software is so transparent that I don't need a degree

I think you got me wrong. I'm one of those engineers who flip over :) What I meant was that the employers do not understand this behavior and all they could do to prevent this is to block access to the Internet which actually harms our work
