I don't know about the tax laws elsewhere, but IIRC, in the US gains from art are taxed as income, not as capital gains, which would seem to reduce their attractiveness as investment vehicles dramatically.

I'm from a typically red state. I'm fairly conservatarian, I wouldn't mind if pot was legal. But pro-legalization groups often talk about it as if legalized pot was completely void of negative externalities. And that is wrong

I squealed with laughter when I saw the first article last week. It is far past time we put away such nonsense. This week on twitter I was informed by many of these professional agitators that Sobel-Feldman Edge Detection is racist.

millions of people take HCQ on a daily basis for their lupus. Ask any rheumatologist, the danger of Torsades de Points is only a concern for HCQ if the patient already has a serious heart condition, or if the patient has been taking HCQ for

IIRC, this is because the aveoli in the lungs can still expel the CO2, but have a tough time with oxygen intake. It is CO2 build up that makes you feel distressed, not necessarily the lack of oxygen.

this reminds me of the letterman case. The guy got nailed for blackmail, he would have been so much better off just selling the info to a tabloid.
