   I bought a mac mini, the cheapest one, just to try it. I am not impressed with it. I can see some good points to UI, but I would not buy a Macbook for my web development work. Actually I recently bought another dell laptop.

   Not many, actually they all worked with web stuff(RoR,Javascript) and elastic search, while I was working with Microsoft Asp.NET and other web stuff.

    when it starts loading the image right click on the image and then Save As. Chrome will crash but the picture will be downloaded(30MB+)

    I think you could cache the ajax calls and gain some loading performance. AngJobs is using [angular-cache]( https://github.com/jmdobry/angular-cache ) for example.
