I would not recommend Ionic. I've been using it in a medium sized app for about 3 years now and I get the feeling it's good for getting started, but once your app grows past a certain size it's starting to create more issues

I don't use any of those apps so I'm not familiar with their underlying technology but it looks like they are all Electron apps. If that's the case, then yes, screen-sharing should be much easier once they migrate to Electron

This is the biggest issue for me as well, but I've mostly learnt to live with it by not scaling the HiDPI display in sway. What I do instead is scale the XWayland applications when possible. For me the only XWayland apps that I want
