I understand relation to FP. I even think of having lazy-evaluated infinite sequences in my system :) BTW, great thanks for the paper, it seems to be closely related to what I'm working on.

No, there is nothing one indentation level deeper than 1, so it should have no parens according to the rule.

Rule is straightforward – if there is stuff one indentation level deeper, prepend parens.

I don't get the point of using FUSE/ramdisk. Why not just use FSEvents/inotify to listen for updates? See for example https://github.com/ggreer/fsevents-tools

Yes, this isn't going to happen at once. At first there will be cars still needing some driver control (like planes with autopilot), but as most drivers aren't professional I think laziness will gradually win over fear as people will get us

Sure that having more RAM won't make things slower. But for most uses cases SSD compensates for lack of RAM, as swapping becomes reasonably fast. You need to swap our more than 200 MB per second to saturate SSD in MacBook Air, it is hard to

Swapping is far more efficient on SSD and so RAM isn't such a problem. At least it works good enough in cases when you have a lot of data in heap which isn't used frequently (your example of multiple projects open). RAM is cheap, but it sti

To tell the truth it looks to me that if something requires even 1 GB of memory during compilation than you have a bigger problem than lack of RAM on your laptop :) So I'd like to know about some real-world example when you need that much R

I've got myself MacBook Air (last year's model) with 4GB RAM and now I realize that I could even be fine with 2GB model. It works just damn smooth because of SSD, much better than my iMac with 4GB and faster CPU but regular HDD.
