Somewhat OT: this is an editorial, right? The tone clearly reads as one, but Ctrl+F "opinion" or "editorial" has 0 results, and I couldn't find an author byline. Why do newspapers do this?

re #2: Being a non-native speaker is fundamentally going to make things more difficult, but when the alternative is meetings with different accents and no time to look unfamiliar words up, a document culture seems far more accessible.

Me and my wife made https://sortesalearum.com , a web emulator for an ancient roman fortune telling system. In SEO terms it's one of my most successful projects though -- not a lot of competition :)

re:PS, same -- the game itself takes too much time investment to want to play regularly, but the stuff people manage to do in it is really impressive. There's a new programming paradigm waiting to be discovered inside Minecraft...

Nitpick: the font on the landing page is really weird (Linux Chrome) -- the baselines of the letters don't line up, giving it a really strange appearance.

This is a couple of anti-trans, anarcho-primitivist wackos. The fact that they can derail an environmental movement is depressing.

We used Grapelli at a previous $WORK, and regretted it. It has compatibility issues, makes it harder to write custom widgets, and doesn't actually look that good IMO. Was also hard to switch off of.

When it pops up the results dialog after you win, there's a green "Share" button in the bottom right. If you closed the results dialog, you can get it to open again by refreshing the page.

I used to live in VA and how incredibly incompetent VDOT is baffles me. There's basically no public transport in the state, and the roads are still horrible. Where does the money go? They're building new lanes on the highways like

I think you have their point a bit backwards: they're not saying the causes of height are simple, but rather that the output is simple to measure. If you measure 5 groups and one is 20% taller than the rest, that's pretty clear ev
