It isn't not-PR just because you wrote it. It's PR because it's disseminating information to the public for the purpose of image management. The information is that the company thought it could grow more during the pandemic b

I think another way to phrase what the author is trying to say is that EA is too "comfortable" for people who, for the world to really get better, might need to give something up. There's a great Scott Alexander (who may be a

Some people have argued that indexed access is a wart, but it would be quite heavyweight to always have to unwrap an option when accessing a known-good index: let foo = [0_u8, 1, 2]; foo[0].unwrap(); // really? Inst

I don't have a strong knowledge of Japanese (year in college as part of linguistics degree, wife speaks it), so it's possible I'm mistaken about the nature of it grammatically. But my point isn't to make some Sapir-Whorf

Eh, you're right if you treat it as just clipping "morphological". But it doesn't sound like it to most people, they think "English and Japanese are in the same category of lacking a future tense" in some non-e

This is my syntax bias for sure, and you're not wrong it is a debate for some reason, but I find it very silly. An inflectional rule or an auxiliary word can assign a `TENSE fut` feature, just like an inflectional ending or an adposi

It can happen either way I think. The reverse is framing Amazon but overlaying an evil credit card input invisibly on top of Amazon's.

Don't you need (up to) `N cut depths - 1` keys per pin? E.g. if there are 4 possible cut depths for a pin, and your key has depth 3 on pin 1, you need to (potentially) test depths 1, 2, and 4 -- and if none of them work, your key share
