Apparently the sheer abuse of power entailed by Microsoft hijacking and disrupting the inbound traffic of a lot of innocent no-ip customers to track the few C&C servers is entirely lost on you. If something like that is to be done it sh

They need to fix the bugs that are being exploited by hackers. If major corporate customers are still receiving fixes why can't they be extended to every one else? After all it is the same software everyone is running.

What organizations? Do you have an idea about how many small business and home users are still running Windows XP? As far as they are concerned if it is capable of doing what they bought it for, why should they upgrade? Software doesn'

Pharo is a fork/clean-up of Squeak with a developer oriented focus. Some of the Pharo developers want to distance it from the Smalltalk name/association which they believe may be holding it back. There is/has been a long heat

You got it wrong actually. Smalltalk is not supposed to integrate with everything. It is everything which is supposed to become Smalltalk based, the desktop/working space, the GUI and the IDE, right down to the OS and the kernel. Small

To be honest I have no idea what homoiconic means. I think it means that everything is the same, ie whether a function in the case of functional languages like Haskell, or an object in languages like Smalltalk.
