There was a project on collecting usage statistics, but I don't know what the current status is, or how the data was used. I doubt the features you mention will disappear anytime soon, that would probably be seen as a little too drastic. Op

Good explanation! I found lots of complaints about the signature, but searching around it seemed difficult to find a proper explanation.

Well, there's stability testing, where you want to submit your system to high(er) loads over an extended period of time. Personally I've only done it over 2 - 3 days, though, not 4 weeks, but for a critical system it might not be a bad idea

Yes, that is correct. Opera Mobile connects directly to the requested sites, unless you enable Opera Turbo, which makes Opera Mobile use the Opera Mini servers.

Have you tried Java EE 6 at all? It seems to be catching up to Spring. That said, there might not be many reasons to use it, especially since not many application servers support it. I worked with Java EE in 2004, took a break, and started

Well, unfortunately conditions like these are not confined to the games industry. Psycopaths in leadership positions can most likely be found in every industry. Perhaps it's more common in the games industry, though. Or perhaps it just gets

I considered commenting on how familiar this sounds. Personally, I can't help showing up on time. It just comes naturally to me. It used to irritate me that other people don't show up on time, but I'm trying to get used to it. If everyone c

I tried using 3g video calling on my phone a few years ago, but was never impressed. It was a hassle, really ... difficult to walk and talk at the same time. However, one day I saw someone I saw using sign language over 3g video calling, an
