You cannot attrite 40% of the company in 5 months, without creating an incredibly toxic environment. Dorsey knows this; ultimately he lost Twitter over his inability to right size it. I would bet dollars to donuts he promised himself he wou

I'd love a working bone conduction headset. Also a subvocalization to agent thingy that worked.

slop. also stupid. bad llm. phone values drop 60%+ per year. if you re-parse this without spending all your time on em-dashes you will note that it slows diffusion of next-gen chips, it does not cut off those users.

gemini 3 deepthink + 5.3 xxhigh code audits catch a lot. Materially better than six months ago on the security side. Also, yes. Still something that needs expert oversight.

I second this. Especially with a coding assistant, there's no reason not to start out with proper data model migration. It's not hard, and is one of the many ways to enforce some process accountability, always useful for the LLMs

They forgot the single most important (bad) choice. Claude Code chooses npm. All the time. For everything. I noted the Claude Code lead dev has a full line in AGENTS.md/CLAUDE.md - "Use bun." Yes. Please. Please, use bun. I b

Not sure why this link and/or question is here, except to say LLMs like this incantation. It redirects STDERR (2) to where STDOUT is piped already (&1). Good for dealing with random CLI tools if you're not a human.

Interesting. Whatever they are doing it's a bit different than Anthropic and oAI, which is good for the consumer. I'm curious about their ML Ops internally; would be fascinating to learn more.

Meanwhile Apple iPhone sales were up 23% YoY end of last year. It'll likely be a good year for Apple, with a little more room in margin to make some plays, and a lottt of cash.

Interesting they get to rev this with the release of a new flash model. I'm speculating part of the distil pipeline includes the image gen stuff; that seems like internal tooling that will pay dividends over time, if true. New frontier

the workflow right now would be to take this images, make a sequence of them for key "shots" and send them to an I2V model. LTX-2 is the model the r/stablediffusion folks are playing with right now, but there are a fair few.

Woof. Impedance mismatch outcome from moving fast - the GCP auth model was never designed to work like oAI's API key model; this isn't the only pain point this year, but it's a nasty one. I'm sympathetic, except that dea

The groq purchase was designed to not trigger federal oversight of mergers, so you buy out the ‘interesting’ part, leave a skeleton team and a line of business you don’t care about -> no CFIUS, no mandatory FTC reporting -> smoother p
