Apple needs to face criminal penalties for the dark patterns with which they prey upon their users.

Thanks for posting - Google needs to face serious competition and market penalties for the recent anti-user behavior. I feel that the products that matter at Google are controlled by an extremely distasteful group of people. Looting the use

The people in control of Apple know their market power, ironically, derives from a closed-garden messaging product. Exactly like Blackberry. The longer the anti-customer behavior continues the greater the resentment becomes. Customers do no

I recently played around with this tool to spec out the resources I'm using to host a medium complexity Rails application in AWS. I was blown away by the experience. Lifetime access costs $4 (just for now I assume!) I have no affiliati

Addled, Anti-1st Amendment essay. Few Anti-Musk types appreciate how popular the 1st Amendment is with the public. "Powerless" people (like me) will be dramatically more likely to do business with a person who's willingly ac

A little more leetcode could have prevented this outcome for this division of Amazon.

Seeing as AWS is probably the king of the BS leetcode interview track, your aping their behavior in this area as the ANTI-AWS does not bode well for you. I hope I'm wrong here as AWS needs serious competition.

Comical. California politicians are going in the wrong direction on essentially every single thing people care about. No, we want traffic to go faster. Yes, turns on red are safe. How about a crack down on vagrancy, shoplifting, and illegal

Bukele has been a wonderful leader for El Salvador. He's shown us that we don't have to live in a society run by violent criminals. We can actually solve the problem.

So what do you think the real number of people who can fit in the aisle per row? 1.2? 1.5? 2?

You're allowed to wait for later flushes, and to trade your position for a nearby neighbor's! Families would be absolutely fine in this system.

The simulation currently encodes an average 2 second gap between passengers in the deplaning aisle - in theory you could shoot in when a passenger with a longer minbuffer is near you. This can be done so long as it does not cause accordion-

This is why I suspect there to be an even more lassiez faire approach available: 1. ANYONE fills the aisle 2. Entire aisle is flushed (aisle obstructors are somehow severely punished) 3. repeat until done This would probably be even faster

There's a great deal of imperfection and slack baked into this simulation. I invite you to read the source code. In it you'll see that I explicitly afford for slack in the walk and belongings-gathering steps.
