As an Australian living in Canada, I want to say unalike Canada, the term "Province" feels weird to be used here. Australia refers to its divided regions as "States".

As a user of this product frustrated by the onboarding process, I’d be keen to chat to you guys! Dropping a note.

Interesting! I think upstairs we would struggle but the basement slab runs cooler, I’m pretty sure it would handle this pretty fine. I’ll check it out, thanks!!

Chris, great and i love that you're working on this. We need more heatpumps in this world! Any chance there's a solution coming for people with hydronic systems? We have a house in rural Ontario that has in-floor hydronic in the b

Funny your example is hvac, i recently made an “instant quote form” for a friend who works in hvac (interiorclimatesolutions.com) I agree though, i feel like lead gen is how this has to pay for itself. I’ve been resisting that path but it f

Hey there, I'm Andrew, thanks for taking the time to check this post out. None of this feels super new, I've done the startup thing before (Last good outcome was an exit of Checkout51.com to News Corp), so I am used to the rollerc

You’re totally correct in saying this but here’s some unrequited advice: never speak this way to your significant other!

Only criticism i have is i ended up on a search form and after submitting to it the page reloaded and the results were below the fold. Otherwise yep, very fast and clean.

Also good luck signing up and making your first API call. OpenAI made that very easy, Google no doubt will make it a total pain.

Oh I’m very aware. I’ve raised over $60m in my career to date. I wish the world was different, but it isn’t and you’re right, the math for them doesn’t work in other circumstances. It’s hard trying to bootstrap but it’s depressing trying to

Had a chat with a big time VC the other day about a project, told “I’m not sure this is venture fundable”. Things like this make me think just because I’m not willing to lie and sell the hype that the true sentiment here is “you’re not vent

You raise a good point about using fine tuning this way, honestly from the documentation i struggled to see how i could apply it to some situations but i think i just need to dig deeper. My use cases are essentially getting data about prope

Yes and no. These personalities are pretty basic, you really cannot add someone’s lives experiences in a 4K token limit.

It kind of does with the prompts but i feel that this is actually a higher level config of some kind. The idea that you can encompass a personality in a prompt of 4K tokens and leave room for the reply really underestimates how complex pers

I think there’s a difference here. There are cases I’ve found for minor manual tasks, things like real estate listings with some basic programmatically created prompts containing details of a listing. Imo the largest holdback is context. I

Yeah i guess the comment wasn’t well formed enough, i wasn’t suggesting sea plays no part, sea likely won’t be the main battleground, but it of course will be part of supply lines and protecting supply lines. I felt that some diversion of v

The reality is the next war won’t be won by sea. In fact, even the last war wasn’t won by sea. Air is the battle ground, we should be diverting funds from sea to air and it’s very possible accepting a little rust is a deliberate choice.

Interesting. Some of this data isn’t easy to access for me in Canada but yep, they’re in a similar space. Funny because I’m from Australia, but never transacted property over there.

Yeah living in Canada and having only outdoor parking, no way i could live without it. Also it’s just cheaper: electricity is much cheaper over night and if i have to charge 24x7 I’m paying much more.
