I worked there about 5 years ago, but I have heard that since then, they have struck deals with some manufacturers - they might actually have a partnership with Samsung now, and send the LCDs back to them (still for $$). We certainly didn&#

I worked at a uBreak for a time and the manager encouraged us to mention they were signing a TOS regarding the phone repair, if they don't come pick up their device after 90 days they abandoned it, etc. The receipt was really long and

Good cliffhangers work with the plot, using a limit like a weekly release schedule or break between seasons to lengthen tension. I would say most American television is really bad at this and likes to create fake tension between episodes th

SRAMs are catching up, but they are still much less dense, and are normally configured for smaller line sizes and lower latencies than DRAM. DRAM requires sense amplifiers and capacitors which have scaled both scaled slower than transistors

This is a bad comparison. DRAM margins are razor thin and unlike transistors, DRAM has not gotten much smaller, which is the main cost savings gained from process improvements. Instead, server and accelerator vendors want ever faster and hi

18.04 was the last Ubuntu LTS before very recently, and python3.6 is system python3 for Ubuntu 18.04. These are both Ubuntu examples that Nvidia just left as the default. When 20.04 comes python will upgrade with it.

Not neccesarily - I know tons of people happy they waited for GTA V on PC since they really took care to beef up graphics and work out bugs. PC gaming is at a huge high point in the last decade or so, thanks in large part to twitch.

Silicon is bodybuilding-hard. It is extremely hard so there are few competitors, but it is inherently a series of extremely expensive coordination problems. To churn new architectures every couple years takes an oiled machine of thousands.
