Well, "pivot" implies the core business has failed and you're like "oh shit, let's do X instead". Stadia was just Google's New Coke, Apple's Mac Cube, or Microsoft's MSNBC (or maybe Zune. When th

But "car lobbies" mostly implicitly includes "car drivers", right? So it's completely understandable from the universal "I'm rich (initially required to have a car), so get the fuck out of my way" per

I don't know for sure, either, but I suspect any recent Macbook with 16GB RAM would be a significant upgrade over 14700H. I don't like macOS, so in recent years, I only use it on laptop (which for me is like, a few on-site meeting

I don't give any fucks about battery life or even total power consumption cost; I just hate that I have some crap-ass Apple mid-range (for them) laptop with only 36GB RAM and an "M4 Max" CPU, and it runs rings around my 350W

Not great, except for being free, and rock-solid reliable for the purpose of recording desktop audio! (I pay for Audio Hijack Pro, too — and yeah it is better for the purpose, if the price is worth it to you.)

Yeah, but it's not a big bet. Deno can do it, Bun can do it, if they die a tragic VC-fueled death then somebody else (maybe Node) can do it. Using Bun to me is just like using a microwave oven in 1980 — there weren't a lot of micr

YMMV. I also hate it (and use the simple, GenX-compatible alphabetically-ordered list) but all my kids and also my wife prefer the weird hex grid — they're just faster with it, it doesn't slow them down the way it does to my 1970s

A fuck of a lot better than HomePod, LOL! (Context: I have 2 Apple TV devices and 5 HomePod devices in my home, plus one Apple Vision Pro. I only like one of those more than my Pixel 9 Fold.)

That's a feature, not a bug. When you think about it (even drunk as hell while mid-fall bungee jumping) the latter form is sensible and the first is nuts.
