I don't really see that happening unless they make the C919 much more efficient. There's probably a market for Comac where Boeing and Airbus aren't allowed to sell due to sanctions or whatnot, but that's a separate issue

Plug-in hybrids makes very little sense, compared to pure hybrids or battery-electric vehicles. You end up with a complex drive train and a lot of added weight. To me it makes more sense to just use a hybrid if range is an issue. You need q

Just a fair warning about these cards, the support is flakey at best. You should research if it works with your motherboard and CPU before going down that route. I did a lot of research on this because I wanted to connect my Gaming-PC to an

In Europe the V3 superchargers are 1000VDC, it's a big label of them that says so. Could it be that they're different in other regions?

This is only true for somewhat old and obsolete Tesla superchargers, like V1 and V2. Since the introduction of Supercharger V3 they're all 400-1000V, so any car, with any internal voltage can charge at their rated speeds.

I might be wrong, but I think this is where a lot of the misconception stems from. In Norway it also shows the (usually) correct visualization, but it never use it. People have done a lot of testing and it seemingly always use map data. But

I don't think Tesla reads signs at all. As far as I understand they're using map data, which is often out of date. It's one of those features that is so bad that they really should give you an option to just disable it. But I

Like with all cars I think you should try it before you buy it. That's the only way to get an idea of how things work is reality. In both models you can actually see the speed while you're looking at the road, it's just in a

I think most owners of either model disagrees with that. Sure - it would be handy, but it's not a feature that I'm desperately missing. I would go so far to say that I'm not missing it at all.

You get very little benefit with a plugin hybrid compared to just a hybrid or battery-electric vehicle. You have a very complex drive train, double the amount of motors, fuel tank, batteries, you get the idea. What you end up with is usuall

You're also a paying customer of one of those services that you're sharing data with. It doesn't automatically mean that they'll be any better, and Tesla has had quite a few privacy-related fuckups, but one is in the bus

Ha! The closest I've been to meeting Magnus Carlsen is that one time we both happened to be standing next to each other at the urinals. He adheres to normal urinal etiquette, if that's anything to go by.

You don't have to apply for a work or residence permit, which means that you can stay in the country indefinitely. If you're from the EEA you have to exit Norway every 3 months, unless you qualify for a work and residence permit,
