The Nook Color is pretty different from other Android devices - it's locked down by B&N and they're planning on opening their own app store for it. It's also missing menu, back & search buttons, found on every other 2.x device. In a

You mean the Samsung Galaxy Tab? It has the Market. Perhaps the upcoming Motorola XOOM? Yep, it has the Market. The only two exceptions I can think of are the Archos tablets and Notion Ink: Archos doesn't fulfill Google requirements, and I

It's worth noting that they announced a new pricing system too - developers will be able to specify different prices for different currencies, like with the App Store.

If anyone is wondering, this was probably caused by their "100000$ giveaway" and the signups flooding their servers. http://blog.linode.com/2010/12/15/linode-100000-giveaway/

There's a mistake in this article: Wikileaks DNS wasn't provided by EasyDNS, but by EveryDNS.

Sorry about that - a description is in my profile. The app is called Clipper, and it's a clipboard/snippet manager.

I've always wondered how many apps there are on the Market using Scala - I've never heard of one and it would be interesting to try writing my next one in it.

As someone who's developed a similar app for Android, I'm actually a bit surprised that they have to resort to such workarounds in the first place.

I think that ATi is going in the right direction with their Linux drivers: the newest version has support for 2.6.34 and Xorg 1.8 out of the box, whereas with past versions hacks were necessary.

That's what I thought - and the cinematography, IMO, is pretty bad. Half of the time the subjects seem to be blurry.
